Getting started

mach is a weekly planner: a board of days, a strip of lists, and agents that can work from the same board you do.

Go to machich.co/app and enter your email. You’ll get a sign-in link; there’s no password. Your first sign-in creates your account and a Personal workspace with a 14-day trial, agents included.

The board

  • Days. The week runs left to right. Today’s column is marked in orange. With the week starting Monday, Saturday and Sunday share the last column.
  • Lists. Below the week, for things that don’t belong to a day: reading, ideas, someday.
  • Adding. Click an empty line, or press a. New todos go to the top of their day or list.
  • Finishing. Press x (or double-click). The todo is struck off and sinks below the open ones.
  • Moving. Drag a todo to another day or list, or press Enter to pick it up and carry it with h l. Drop it on the ‹ › arrows to move it a week.
  • Editing. Click a todo’s title (or press e) to edit it right in the row. Enter saves, Esc cancels.
  • Details. Press Space, or the ⋯ at the end of a row, for notes, a date, and a color.

Nothing gets lost

Todos you didn’t finish move to today on their own, after today’s open todos and in the order you left them. Lists never roll over.

⌘K or / searches every week and list by title and notes, and jumps you to the todo. The same box runs commands: go to today, switch workspace, settings.
